I picked up this freshly rebuilt (approx. <7500mi ago) shortblock for just $500. This engine came out of a local lspbc member's 86GN. With his setup he was running consistent 7.0's and even a few 6.90s!! The rotating assembly consists of TRW forged pistons, with Total Seal Gapless rings. The bottom end is held together by a set of ARP main studs. It also has a comp 206 and a double roller timing set. It also has a hi-volume front cover already installed and he tossed in a spare flexplate he had because my stock one is missing a few teeth. The only downside to this setup is that it has a n/a crank, but considering there are quite a few people running deep into the 10's with n/a parts, I should be safe.
